Through our partnership with ProActive Safety Services, Direct First Aid & Safety offers outstanding First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
Your employees will leave each training class not just knowledgeable about how to respond to first aid emergencies, they’ll have practiced the skills necessary and feel confident in their ability to respond.
Training is certified through the American Red Cross® and all curriculum meet the 2010 guidelines of ILCORE as published by the American Heart Association. Among the skills you and your employees will learn:
- Care for conscious and unconscious choking victims
- How to perform CPR on adult, children, and infants
- How to use an AED (automatic external defibrillator) on a victim of sudden cardiac arrest
- How to respond to a sudden illness such as stroke, seizures, and diabetic emergencies
- How to provide first aid for a variety of injuries, from burns, wounds, head & neck injuries, heat- and cold-related emergencies
We believe in making sure each class participant has ample time to practice, ask questions, practice, and…practice!
When an emergency occurs, your business and employees cannot afford delays due to untrained coworkers who lack confidence — so we focus on helping every trainee master First Aid, CPR, and AED skills.
We can work around your schedule (during the work day or after-hours, or even on Saturdays), and classes can be taught at your location.
The ProActive Safety CPR difference comes in how we structure our classes to ensure each participant has ample opportunity to practice the skills without fear of embarrassment. We give polite, but direct, feedback.
We coach and encourage. We never put anyone on the spot.
First aid training classes with ProActive Safety CPR are also very accommodating. At your office morning or night, or even on Saturdays, we can work with your team’s schedule to provide outstanding training.
Because ProActive Safety CPR an American Red Cross training organization and EMS certified, we can provide just the right training for your team’s needs and your budget.
With both training programs participants will receive 2-year certification. With EMS Safety, participants receive their own workbook to use after training is over. With American Red Cross, participants can use the workbook only during the class.
